 +====== Generate material legend ======
 +===== Description =====
 +Legends of the used materials can be generated automatically from the [[Material-Manager]]. For this legend-function only the material objects for the legends are considered. This legend is associative, ie. amendments in the Material-Manager are automatically updated in the legend.

 +<WRAP round tip 60%>
 +To edit the material legend use the command [[Legenden bearbeiten]].
 +</WRAP>
 +
 +===== Procedure =====
 +If you want to generate a material legend on the basis of the objects in the Object-Manager you have to mark the desired group and execute the function via Menu **Material > Generate material legend**. The function refers in this case only to the subordinate groups and material objects.
 +
 +Then there are two options to select the material objects that are to be listed in the material legend.\\
 +{{:produkte:cad:planung:mat0011.png?nolink|}}
 +
 +With the option **Objects in groups** the Material-Manager is analyzed and the subordinate materials are selected automatically.\\ With the option **Objects in drawing** you have the opportunity to select specific objects with materials that are to be listed in the legend directly from the drawing.\\ With **[OK]** the dialogue **Material Legend** opens where detailed settings can be **configured** for the legend:\\ {{:produkte:cad:planung:mat0012.png?nolink|}}
 +
 +===== Functions =====
 +In the dialogue box **Material Legend** some pre-settings are already made. If you want to do any amendments you can find further information in the relevant chapter (see below) in the fields **Objects**, **Options**, **Groups**, **Values**and **Graphic** .
 +
 +For the **Legend Title** a group name from the Material-Manager is automatically selected. But any name can be entered manually.\\ The field **Info** can be used to enter the sub-title. The display Info in the Material-Manager is set by default.
 +
 +With **[OK]** the material legend is inserted into the current drawing as a table. After placing the material legend into the drawing the dialogue box Material-Manager appears again.
 +
 +**[Cancel]** closes the function to create a material legend and switches back to the dialogue box Material-Manager.
 +
 +For the material legend the **table style** //DATAflor CAD - Layout// is set by default.
 +
 +<WRAP indent>
 +It is optimized for the use in paper space. This table style and the table style //DATAflor CAD - Model// are created automatically, if they do not exist in the drawing yet.\\ \\ By clicking the button **[...]** you reach the dialogue for the selection of table styles.\\ {{:produkte:cad:planung:pfl0045.png?nolink|}}
 +<WRAP round tip 85%>
 +With the command **TABLESTYLE** you can create new tables or edit existing tables.
 +</WRAP>
 +<WRAP round tip 85%>
 +The font **Arial** is allocated to the pre-defined DATAflor table styles which supports the use of exponents (m², m³).
 +</WRAP>
 +</WRAP>
 +
 +With the button **Change content** the contents of the table can be defined.\\ <WRAP indent>
 +{{:produkte:cad:planung:mat0013.png?nolink|}}
 +
 +The column //caption// is pre-defined. In addition, further attributes from the material catalogue can be selected.\\ The order of the columns in the table is amended by using the arrow keys (up > down equates left > right).\\ With **Sort by** the column is selected by which the objects within the legend are to be sorted.
 +</WRAP>
 +
 +The legend is placed on the selected or newly created Layer. The default layer is //0_Materiallegend//.\\ With **[Select new images]** another image can be selected from the material database\\ **[Show Preview]** extends the current dialogue **Material Legend**. In the extended part a preview of the legend with the current settings is possible. Changes, exept the ones in the input fields, are displayed immediately. For changes in the input fields click the button **[Refresh Preview]** to update the table in the preview.
