 +===== Procedure =====
 +  - After entering the command the dialogue box opens. In the tab **Selection** a wide range of functions is available.\\ \\ {{:​produkte:​cad:​entwurf:​zei0060.png?​nolink|}}\\ \\ With **Select Objects** specific blocks can be selected. With **All by Name** and the input of a T, for example, all blocks starting with T (eg. Tree_1 and Tree_2) are selected. Without the input of a letter, all blocks in the drawing receive a shadow (not just only trees). ​ The number of selected blocks is displayed at the bottom of the dialogue. With the settings in the field **Filter** the selection can be reduced further.\\ \\ 
 +  - In the tab **Outline** the boundary settings of the blocks can be edited. An outline is a boundary line around the block that can be used in multipe ways.  For the hatch of the tree shadow the boundary denotes the line of the object. Without tree shadow it can be useful for the detection of areas for planting plans or as graphic tool.\\ \\ {{:​produkte:​cad:​entwurf:​zei0061.png?​nolink|}}\\ \\ The **Spacing** can be entered as value or, alternatively,​ be specified on-screen.\\ \\ In the field **Reference** the options relative and absolute are available. The setting relative takes into account the size of the selected trees. The value entered in Spacing will be added to the radius of the tree. This way, the shadow distance to the tree is always the same, no matter what size the tree is. In absolute the distance entered in Spacing is measured as radius from the centre of the tree. In this case, the outline does not depend on the size of the tree anymore.\\ \\ <WRAP 85%>

 +  - In the tab **Shadow** the settings for the shadow calculation are made. The shadow is separated in fill and the outer boundary, with which the shadow is calculated. You can **hide** or **unhide** the boundary of the shadow.\\ \\ {{:​produkte:​cad:​entwurf:​zei0062.png?​nolink|}}\\ \\ **Angle** indicates the direction and **Offset** the length of the shadow. Both values can be entered directly or are specified **on-screen**.\\ \\ For the offset function the options relative and absolute are available. The setting **relative** takes into account the size of the selected trees. The value entered for the offset serves as factor. The offset is calculated by the factor plus the radius of the tree. Thus the outline offset always depends on the size of the tree. In **absolute** the value entered in offset is used directly for the offset of the outline. The shadow length is not dependant on the tree size anymore. All plants have the same shadow length.\\ \\ <WRAP 90%>

 +Moving trees in the drawing is possible without any difficulty. For this, a tree only has to be selected and moved with its pick point.
