+====== Administration in DATAflor BUSINESS ======
 +===== Description =====
+Once a drawing is linked, it can be seen in DATAflor BUSINESS. Is a linked specification or tender marked within the project manager a new tab appears on the right with the caption **CAD**. Here, all linked drawings are listed. Next to Name, Size, and Saving Location, there is also the Date of last amendment stated.

+Red underlined entries indicate that there is a drawing file missing, or not on the previously specified location. If the file was, eg. moved to another folder, the link can be re-created immedately, because the system works internally with a explicit identification number (ID). To activated the link again, the drawing is to be opened and when starting the Object-Manager, confirm the inquiry after an update with **[Yes]**.

+===== Link options and consistency behaviour =====
+For the link of masses to DATAflor BUSINESS there are multiple options for transferring the masses available depending on the intended purpose.
 +
+==== Direct mass transfer to items ====
+The masses from CAD are transferred into a special mass-field, the CAD-mass. This mass may not correspond to hundred percent with the documented mass, because the CAD-mass is calculated with up to 16 decimal places, whereas the mass documentation in the plan is transferred and calculated with only 2-3 decimal places (depending on the configuration).
 +
+In the **basic data of the specification** can be selected that the **CAD-mass** equals (**=**) the **Item mass** (default setting is deactivated).
 +
 +
 +
+The CAD-mass corresponds with the distance, area, or volume of the object detected by DATAflor CAD.
 +
+When the option is activated, the CAD-mass is entered directly as item quantity. In case there are changes in the drawing, the item quantity is updated immediately.
 +
 +<WRAP round tip 90%>
+If an item quantity is amended manually in DATAflor BUSINESS with the function **Edit quantities** then this will not be overwritten with the CAD-mass. For an update, the item quantity has to be reset to 0.
 +</WRAP>
 +
+In landscape gardening it is often necessary to deactivate the option, because the masses are provided by the architects and only the comparison may of interest.
 +
 +
+==== Indirect mass transfer to items ====
+If the option **CAD-mass = item mass** is deactivated, the detected masses in CAD are treated in DATAflor Business as CAD-mass and thus have no impact on the item quanities. When changing the drawing, only the CAD-mass will be updated.
 +
 +
 +
+An overview (comparison CAD-mass/mass list/item quantity) can be achieved by marking the title in the specification and then switching to the tab **Masses nominal/actual**.
 +
+Now, when in the basic settings in the specification the option **CAD-mass = item quantities** is activated and then deactivated, all CAD-masses are trasferred as item quantities, then not anymore. This procedure is a very safe way to work.
 +
+==== Item quantities from the mass list / pre-measurement of quantities ====
+An additional option is the transfer of the item quantities from the mass list (see Dokumentation). The option **CAD-mass = item quantity** should be deactivated in the specification's basic data, because otherwise the item quantities would be overwritten by the CAD-mass.
 +
+After writing the mass list (see Mengennachweis erstellen) the quantities of the mass list can be entered as item quantities in DATAflor BUSINESS via the Menu **Edit > Pre-measurement > Specification or Tender quantities**. Landscape companies use this function to prepare invoices with the documented masses. This is also possible via the invoice-print: Option **Quantities from mass list** in the print settings.

 +
 +===== Remove the allocation =====
+In DATAflor BUSINESS the allocation of the drawing to the specification or tender can be removed.
 +
 +
 +
+For this, the relevant row is marked and the command **Delete entry** executed with clicking the right mouse button. After a security check all masses from the drawing (item quantities and CAD-masses) are removed and recalculated. The entries of the mass list remain.
 +
 +<WRAP round important 90%>
+The drawing file itself has still the information that a link exists. If the inquiry about the update is confirmed with **[Yes]** when starting the drawing, then all masses are written back into the specification or tender. Writing the mass list needs to be executed manually with the button **[Mass list]** in the tab **Documentation**.
 +</WRAP>
 +
+If you also want to remove link-information from the drawing, click **[No]** in the inquiry about the update when starting the Object-Manager in the drawing, then the specification's object tree structure needs to be converted into a normal object tree with **<wrap caps>Del</wrap>** (see Verwaltung in DATAflor CAD > **Removing the Link**).
 +
+Thus, this type of removing the link can used to create different design- and calculation options.

 +===== Further information =====
+On the level of the titles a collection of the individual items is made. From the perspective of the CAD-link the columns **Quantity**, **Mass List**, and **CAD-mass** are of interest.
 +
 +
 +
+The column **Quantity** displays the item quantity which can only be filled from CAD (provided the option **CAD-mass = item quantity** is activated in the specification's basic data). Also, it can be filled by manual input, so that the item quantity differs from the quantity detected in CAD.
 +
+The column **Mass List** lists the calculation results of the mass list (pre-measurement of quantities). On the one hand, this can be filled by CAD, and on the other manually. Therefore, the quantities in the mass list and the CAD-mass do not necessarily have to match. Furthermore, differences through rounding can have an impact on the results.
 +
+The column **CAD-mass** shows the sum of all linked objects for the item. At that, the sum can be a result of several drawings.
 +
+Provided, that CAD-objects are allocated to individual items, a new tab CAD appears where all objects are listed by drawings that belong to this item.
