 +====== Create objects ======
 +The following options are used to create new objects:

 +===== Derivate new objects =====
 +Start the command **Outline Tracing** {{:produkte:cad:planung:mas0010.gif?nolink|}} with Menu **Masses > New > Outline Tracing** or with the mouse by right-click **New > Outline Tracing**.
 +
 +The outline derivation matches the function and method of the command **KONTUR**. Therefore, when working with outline derivations the guidelines for the command KONTUR are also to be considered (see [[Konturen]]).
 +
 +<WRAP round tip 90%>
 +When deactivating the option **closed** in the Outline dialogue a distance can be derivated from a closed object.

 +
 +When creating outline objects they will be inserted into the drawing automatically after a successful derivation. This is of advantage, because in case the original objects are changed you can see straight away whether the outline derivation is traced properly. Layer by default is //0_Outline//. The outlines denote individual objects and can be detected as such in the Object-Manager.
 +
 +<WRAP round tip 90%>
 +When detecting adjacent areas it is sensible to **deactivate the outlines**, otherwise a detection of the already created outlines will be offered. For this the layer //0_Outline// can be frozen. An alternative function to control the visibility is the Visibility Manager (see [[Steuerung von Sichtbarkeiten]]).

 +
 +===== Detect existing objects =====
 +Start the command **Existing Objects** {{:produkte:cad:planung:mas0011.gif?nolink|}} with Menu **Masses > New > Existing Objects** or with the mouse by right-click **New > Existing Objects**.
 +
 +Closed polylines are detected as area. Lines or polylines that were closed with the function Object Snap are detected as distance. Via the window **Properties** (Select object > right click > Properties) you can close multiple polylines.
 +
 +If more than one object selected in a work step, there is the possibility to sort the objects in the object tree automatically by layer. In this process new groups with the name of the layer are created below the activated group.
