 +====== Creation of mass list ======
 +===== Description =====
 +With the option **[Mass List]** in the tab Documentation a mass list can be generated in DATAflor BUSINESS.

 +=== Procedure ===
 +  - Detect objects in the Object-Manager.
 +  - Transfer a DATAflor BUSINESS spec. or project via the BUSINESS Link.
 +  - Click on the button **[Mass List]** in the tab **Documentation**.
 +
 +{{:produkte:cad:planung:dok0029.gif?nolink|}}
 +
 +In contradiction to the update of masses when making amendments to the drawing in DATAflor BUSINESS the mass list is not automatically refreshed. To achieve a current mass list the button **[Mass List]** in DATAflor CAD has to be activated again.
 +
 +<WRAP round important 90%>
 +If a linked object from the object tree is deleted, all CAD-masses are automatically deleted in DATAflor BUSINESS, as well. The entry in the mass list is maintained, though, and can only be removed by re-writing the mass list.
 +</WRAP>
 +
 +If entries in the mass list created by DATAflor CAD are edited manually, they are overwritten by the next generation of a mass list from DATAflor CAD. Manually created entries in the mass list are maintained and are placed itemized at the start of the list.
 +
 +The mass list can be written for the entire specification, individual items, or even for individual objects. Critical is the selected group or object in the object tree on the left.
 +
 +<WRAP round tip 90%>
 +The CAD-mass can deviate from the masses in the mass list. This is caused by the calculation of the decimal places, DATAflor CAD calculates the mass with **16 decimal places** exactly, but in the mass list are only **2-3 decimal places** available. This leads to different results, for instance when additing areas of individual objects, or when calculating sub-totals.
 +</WRAP>
 +
 +When writing the mass lists the following message may appear:\\ {{:produkte:cad:planung:dok0030.gif?nolink|}}
 +
 +The **reason** is easily explained. The mass list is possibly still open in DATAflor BUSINESS, which is a database protected application. If a data table is used by a program or applicant other programs or applicants cannot access it.\\  The **solution** lies in the fllowing procedure: the mentioned applicant should leave the specification by switching in the project-Manager. This way, the linked mass list is released and DATAflor CAD can write the entries.
 +
 +<WRAP round important 90%>
 +When writing/refreshing a mass list the current list must not be opened, not even by another user in the network, because therefore the list becomes write-protected.

 +===== Important pre-settings =====
 +Please note: the following items are used in German regions, but may not apply to our english-spoken customers.
 +
 +There are some settings in DATAflor BUSINESS that need to be considered before creating a specification or tender and their contained mass lists. Otherwise there may be an issue switching between a DATAflor and a REB mass list, or the transfer might not be possible to other consultants, offices, and clients.
 +
 +==== Regulations for the Specification ====
 +{{:produkte:cad:planung:doku014.png?nolink|}}
 +
 +Prior to creating a specification or a tender a dialogue opens where the compliances are defined. In the tab **Normenwahl** (selection of standards) the setting can be **set compliant** with GAEB 90 and REB 23.003.
 +
 +{{:produkte:cad:planung:doku015.png?nolink|}}
 +
 +In the tab **Ordnungszahl** (Ordinal number) the hierarchies can be specified. For a REB-conform structure //1122PPPPI// has to be selected.
 +<WRAP round important 90%>
 +These settings cannot be altered at a later stage.
 +</WRAP>
 +
 +==== Presettings in the Program ====
 +So you do not have to change the default setting of the ordinal number in the specification or tender manually each time, it can be pre-set. For this, the program parameters can be adjusted in DATAflor BUSINESS (in the main menu).
 +
 +{{:produkte:cad:planung:dok0032.gif?nolink|}}
 +
 +The default for the ordinal number (under the defaults for new specifications) should be set to 1122PPPPI. With this setting every specification is GAEB-conform.
 +
 +{{:produkte:cad:planung:dok0031.gif?nolink|}}
 +
 +Additionally the definition for the texts of the hierarchy-levels (1-4) is required. For this, the template on the right can be used. If the entries for the description are missing there may be issues at the GAEB data exchange, though.
 +

 +
 +===== Difference between DATAflor and REB mass list =====
 +In some cases mass lists have to be written and exchanged REB-conform (in the data exchange format DA11). The essential difference between the DATAflor and REB mass list is the stating of the reference addresses and sheet rows.
 +
 +The DATAflor mass list provides each result row (sub-total) with a reference address (eg. Z00002). Additional entries (eg. the descriptio of the formula 99) do not contain a reference address. This increases the clarity significantly when checking later on.
 +
 +{{:produkte:cad:planung:dok0036.gif?nolink|}}
 +
 +In the REB definition a so called sheet row (Blattzeile) is required for each row. This does not make it necessarily easier checking the document, but is essential for a data exchange according to DA11.
 +
 +{{:produkte:cad:planung:dok0035.gif?nolink|}}
 +
 +Once a mass list it written, it cannot be switched between the two settings anymore. Because of this, the format of the mass list needs to be considered very carefully (see **Important pre-settings**). To generate an existing mass list in another format, the previous one has to be deleted first, and the mass list needs to be re-written after the **base settings** of the specification have been altered.
 +
 +For the work in DATAflor CAD it does not matter which format is selected. With the option **[Mass List]** in the tab **Documentation** to correct format is written automatically.
