 +In the left part of the dialogue box - below the icons - the derivated objects become visible in the object tree. Before the collection data, only one group is shown in the object tree, the group **All** (yellow folder icon). Additional groups can be created, where any number of hierarchies is possible. Once created object trees can be saved and imported into new drawings. Below this group all objects will be listed that were derivated from the drawing.
  
 +**Groups** are the main structuring objects in the object tree. With groups object tree structures can be created, so that the individual objects can be clearly arranged. Groups can be equipped with properties which are then applied to all sub-objects and groups.

 +The editing options are just about the same as the ones of other Windows applications and can be applied to groups and objects. Also, multiple selections are possible (mouse click with pressed **<wrap caps>​Ctrl</​wrap>​** button).

 +However, the Windows Clipboard is not used as temporary memory, but an internal memory in the program. I.e. objects cut out in the **Object-Manager** cannot be inserted into Winword. Leaving the Object-Manager deletes all information from the internal memory. If there are still objects in the internal memory that have not been inserted yet, you will be notified and get a chance to still insert them.

 +If groups are edited the functions will always refer to the content, too. For example, if you delete a group, all contained objects will be deleted with it.

 +Objects deleted from the **Object-Manager** are not deleted from the drawing. For outlines (see [[Konturen]]) this can be set optimal in the configuration (see [[Optionen]]). Whereas the deletion of drawing objects also causes the deletion of detected objects from the object tree. However, a notification will alert you about this.

 +Start the command **Move** with the mouse by right-click **Mark object > Left click > Move object to the new position**.

 +When moving groups the contained objects will be moved as well. The option in the Configuration **Copy and Cut without object** (see [[Optionen]]) has no impact on this function.

 +===== Managing =====
 +In the **Object-Manager** created object-trees can be exported either as pure object tree structures, as object trees with objects into a directory, or into a library in the [[Quick-Manager]]. With this, the exported object trees can be used easily and quickly in other drawings or on other computers. All properties (eg. graphic and caption) setup in the tabs are saved as well.

 +This function makes work highly effective, because Standards can be defined and repeated setups of object-trees are no longer necessary. It makes sense to have, eg. a thematic object tree or one that is adjusted to different output scales. ​

 +===== Examples for object trees =====
 +To demonstrate the Object-Manager'​s universal implementation possiblitlies object trees are included from the topics Planzeichenverordnung (German regulation for plan symbols) and Kostenschätzung DIN 276 (German norm for cost estimates). ​

 +==== Plan Symbol ====
 +In this object tree are many symbols, hatches, and symbol lines from the PlanzV90 (German regulation for plan symbols) included. By allocating objects or outlines in the Object-Manager,​ documentation eg. for land-use planning can be created easily. This object tree is very suitable for the implementation of simple and small projects.

 +To use the object tree select the file **//​Planzeichenverordnung 1990.MDB//​** from menu **Masses > Import** in the folder **//​planzv//​** of the DATAflor CAD user directory.

 +==== Cost Estimate DIN 276 ====
 +Please note: the following items are used in German regions, but may not apply to our english-spoken customers.

 +With these object trees cost and area calculations of the current planning according to DIN 276 can be produced without the costly transfer to a specification program. There are three different object trees available:
