 +====== GAEB-interface======
 +With the GAEB-interface you can import GAEB-files directly into DATAflor CAD. At this, an [[Massenbaum]] is created in the [[Objekt-Manager]] which is derived from the structure of the GAEB-file. By allocating drawing objects the properties (area, length, etc.) can be inserted as item quantities. Then, the imported GAEB-file can be exported again with the detected masses. Alternatively a REB conform mass list according to REB 23.003 (D11) or a **//​*.CSV//​**-file can be created for the further work in a spreadsheet program (eg. Microsoft Excel).

 +After starting the function for the import a dialogue for the file selection opens. In the dialogue an existing GAEB-file can be selected.

 +The import function supports the following file formats:

 +There is an automatic check during the import whether the file is corresponding with the GAEB Standard. Depending on the data type the program analyzes whether the required row types exist. In the case that the GAEB-file is faulty there is a notification **GAEB-file contains error** and the import is aborted.

 +If the file corresponds with the Standard an object tree structure is created which will be inserted at the tree-node marked before starting the function. The number of hierarchy levels is derived from the GAEB-file'​s structure. Short texts of items are entered as captions,​and long texts are written into the Info field. ​

 +As soon as you move to the **[Mass list]** (see [[Mengennachweis erstellen]]) in the tab **Documentation**,​ a project **CAD - CAD** is created automatically in DATAflor BUSINESS. Then, the specification behaves like in the **Item Link**.

 +===== Work method =====
 +By allocating objects in the GAEB-group their properties are entered as item quantities when exporting. If there are already masses (to be checked in the tab **GAEB**) they will be overwritten with new mass properties. If there are no objects allocated then the original item quantities are not overwritten.

 +The mass unit is specified by the GAEB-file. Alternatively,​ the masses of another attribute can be entered when exporting (Attribute name: **//​GAEBMenge//​**). Allocate a formula with the name GAEBMass to the GAEB-group (item). This value is then used indipendantly of the specified mass unit for the item.

 +In the drawing are only areas. A volume, containing of area x layer thickness, is to be allocated to an item.

 +  - Detect the area and allocate it to the group (item). ​

The data type is pre-set, though, because it was specified by the GAEB import. The created GAEB-file can be imported into any spreadsheet program that supports the GAEB Standard.

The created CSV-file can be opened by the most spreadsheet programs (eg. Microsoft Excel) and text processing programs. It contains the structure of the GAEB-file with all allocted mass entries from the Object-Manager.

 +Alternatively to the export of a GAEB- or CSV-file a REB conform mass list in the data exchange format D11 can be exported. Provided, there is an existing documentation. After starting the function for the REB export a dialogue for the file selection appears. The name for the new file can be entered manually. The data type (**//​*.D11//​**) is pre-set, though.

 +Then, the start value for the sheet row counter can be specified. Default is the value 0001A0. For **Sheet** only number can be entered, for **Row** only letters can be used. Both values are incremented automatically. The number specified for the **Index** is not counted up.
