There can be areas where a documentation is desired that deviates from the automatic one, or where the automatically created documentation is to be changed. For this there is a special formula with which pick points and elements to be documented can be specified. The manual creation corresponds with the editing of existing documentations. The only difference is that all required pick points and regular geometries (triangles, trapezoids, etc.) already exist.
Manually created or edited documentations are not traced or overwritten when changing a drawing object or creating a new documentation. This is a protection setting against accidental deletion of costly works. To delete or refresh a manually created or edited documentation it has to be [deleted] in the tab Documentation and recreated with [Create].
|For your information the masses of the object in the drawing detected by DATAflor CAD and the so far documented mass with REB formulas are listed at the top of the dialogue. The tolerance is displayed in %. Because there is only a limited number of decimal places available within the REB formulas which have to be rounded and summed up, a small deviation is normal.
The dialogue is divided in two parts: Create and Delete. With [End] the dialogue is closed.
|Create||All points: All outer pick points of the object are automatically derivated as points for a documentation.
|Points: With this option individual points can be created (additionally) as documentation points. The points have to be on the outline of the object, though, and is most easily achieved with the Object Snap turned on (see command OFANG). The order is not important here.
| Arcs: Arcs can be contained within every documentation method. They can be easly inserted by selecting a start- and end point. Then, any point which lies on the arc is to be selected.
|Delete||Individual: Removes individual points and arcs (also regular geometries) from the object. At that, the pick points have to be clicked. This is most easily achieved with the Object Snap turned on (see command OFANG).
|All: This functions removes the entire documentation (points and even existing regular geometries).
|Interim points: Removes a row of points at which a start- and end point has to be specified. Before that, all adjacent geometries (arcs, regular geometries) have to be removed.
|The dialogue corresponds with those for distance documentation and documentation by Gauß-Elling.
Additionally some more options are available that are needed especially for the decomposition into regular geometries.
- Creation of tri- and rectangles
- Deletion of regular geometries and arcs
- Display of already documented area
|Create|| Triangles: After clicking the button three points have to be selected with which a triangle is generated. For this, either a pick point has to be clicked or a point on the outline can be selected with the Object Snap (see command OFANG), where a pick point is created automatically.
| Rectangle auto: are trapezoids, or rectangles, which are detected and documented in the mass list automatically.
After clicking the function three points have to be selected. For this, either a pick point has to be clicked or a point on the outline can be selected with the Object Snap (see command OFANG) in which a pick point is created automatically. The fourth point is selected/added on the outline by the program.
Base line for the calculation is the connection between the first and the second point (L1). After the selection of the third point, the program generates automatically a parallel connection to L1 that runs through point 3 and thus defines automatically point 4.
| Rectangles: are trapezoids or rectangles which are defined witht the specification of point 4.
For this, either a pick point has to be clicked or a point on the outline can be selected with the Object Snap (see command OFANG) in which a pick point is created automatically.
Base line for the calculation is the connection between the first and the second point. In this process the heights between the points 1 +2 and 3 + 4 are averaged, which results in the height of the rectangle. The average height is used for the graphic presentation and the mass list.
|Delete|| All inside: Removes all regular geometries and arcs of the object. The points on the outline are maintained.
|Option Fill|| To check whether all areas have been detected, the option Fill can be used. The fill only appears during the editing mode and is not applied to the drawing.
Switching between different options (eg. delete points after creation of triangles) can be can be smoothly. In this case the desired option can be activated with the appropriate button.
The size of the symbols is controlled by the slider. With the slider at the bottom of the dialogue the symbol size during the manual editing can be adjusted.
The manual creation of a prism documentation is not possible, because the prisms are defined clearly by the end area volume.
