 +====== Item link ======
 +===== Description =====
 +The incorporation of a specification or a tender can be executed at any location in the object tree.

 +===== Procedure =====
 +  - In the Object-Manager open the function in the menu **Masses > Item Link** or use the function **BUSINESS Item link** in [[Quick-Massen]].
 +  - After that, a dialogue opens where the current clients with the related projects and the subordinate specifications are listed.\\ {{:produkte:cad:planung:lv_auswahl.png?nolink|}}\\ \\
 +  - Select the desired specification or tender and confirm the dialogue box with **[OK]**. If there should be a lot of entries the search function at the bottom of the dialogue can be used.
 +  - Then, an object tree structure is created from the database which corresponds with the specification / tender and consists of hierarchy and item objects.\\ {{:produkte:cad:planung:mengenverwaltung.png?nolink|}}
 +
 +In the created object tree structure all hierarchy objects (spec, title, awards, etc.) are displayed as folder symbol {{:produkte:cad:planung:icon0007.gif?nolink|}}. The last level in the object tree structure (item) is listed with  {{:produkte:cad:planung:icon0008.gif?nolink|}}.
 +
 +A link of masses can only occur if a specification or tender is selected. The selection of an address or a project is not sufficient!

 +Different specifications or tenders can be embedded in a drawing, and different drawings can be linked to a specification or tender.

 +===== Opening drawings =====
 +When opening the Object-Manager for the first time in a linked drawing a security inquiry appears.
 +
 +{{:produkte:cad:planung:bestaetigung.png?nolink|}}
 +
 +At this, the update of the specification in the **Object-Manager** and the quantities from CAD can be executed in the DATAflor BUSINESS database. Usually, this is sensible and can be confirmed with **[Yes]**. As a result, the current state of the specification is displayed in the Object-Manager.
 +
 +In some cases though, the option **[No]** is required where the state of the **Object-Manager** is displayed in which the drawing was saved. No amendments are made. This has two reasons:
 +
 +  - The drawing is opened at a workstation without connection to DATAflor Business (eg. a Notebook).
 +  - It is an older planning stage or an option of which the data is not to be transferred to the DATAflor BUSINESS database.
 +

 +The specification can be refreshed any time later on (see [[LV Objekte]] > Top hierarchy object).
