 +====== Swap triangles ======
 +===== Description =====
 +The function to swap triangles gives you the possibility to change the arrangement of the triangles of a Triangulation as it was automatically made.\\ {{:produkte:cad:dgm:dgm0113.gif?nolink|}}
 +===== Method =====
 +If a Point set is triangulated, this is done according to the min-max criterion, so that sharp triangles if possible will be avoided. Here, it may happen that as a result of missing points (low density) or a lack of unique edges (for example Embankment’s) the Terrain surface is inadequately described and therefore differently triangulated as desired.

 +<WRAP round important 90%>
 +If the Triangulation will be recalculated, for example by inserting additional high points, that affects the exchanged triangles, the changes will be discarded.

 +----
 +===== Individual =====
 +==== Description ====
 +The manual changing of edges enables a selective choice of individual edges.
 +==== Procedure ====
 +  - Choose a Triangulation in the DTM-Tree, and with the right mouse click select the command **Swap triangles > Individual**.
 +  - Well, you can change the corresponding edges by clicking in the drawing.
 +  - After confirming with <wrap caps>**Enter**</wrap> or clicking next to the Triangulation the function ends, and the DTM-Manager appears again.
 +
 +In various constellations of triangles, it is not possible to exchange the edges of two selected triangles. Whenever the alternative meshing is not within the area of the two triangles, it can't be replaced:\\ {{:produkte:cad:dgm:dgm0114.gif?nolink|}}
 +
 +Is the change important, then you first have to change the edges of the surrounding triangles to change the edge of the desired triangle. Existing dependent objects such as Iso-lines or Grids will be updated automatically.
 +
 +----
 +===== Automatic =====
 +==== Description ====
 +With the automatic swap you can change correctly calculated Triangulations, in the way that a connection between the individual edges is forced. Fortunately this function is used, if for very curvy modeling’s (example digitized contourlines) Triangulations will be created. It is necessary that a modeling is present within the Triangulation.
 +==== Procedure ====
 +  - Choose the desired Triangulation in the DTM-Tree and with the right mouse click select the command **Swap triangles > Automatic**.
 +  - The calculation starts and happend in the background.
 +  - The result is a customized Triangulation.
 +

 +Should the result still be improved, you can re-call the function multiple times.

 +===== Along edges =====
 +==== Description ====
 +Especially when modelings (for example from vectored contourlines) were used as a basis for the Triangulation, a correction along edges can be useful.
 +==== Procedure ====
 +  - Choose the desired Triangulation in the DTM-Tree and with the right mouse click select the command **Swap triangles > Along edges**.
 +  - After choosing the function you just need to select the appropriate polylines. <WRAP round tip 85%>
 +For this it may be best to turn the Triangulation invisible, so it is easier for you to select the polylines in the drawing.
 +</WRAP>
 +  -  After confirming with  <wrap caps>**Enter**</wrap> or clicking next to the edges the function ends.
 +

 +===== Restore =====
 +==== Description ====
 +This function restores all changes of replaced and deleted triangles. Where the function **new calculation** [[Quick-DGM]],  will try to keep all changed triangles.
 +==== Anwendung ====
 +  - Choose the desired Triangulation in the DTM-Tree and with the right mouse click select the command **Swap triangles > Restore**.
 +  - The swap triangles are moved back.
